A research result THE ROLE OF NON FORMAL EDUCATION IN DEALING WITH THE ASEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY (MEA)

While the method used in this study is qualitative research to resource persons are officials related to the problem of regional promotion by using approach on the subject of research that is by asking for their time while providing services in taking care of the future of Asea Economic Community. While the data collection tools are: interview, observation and documentation. To find the truth in a simple analysis in this study tested: Credibility, triangulation, Transferability, Dependability, Confirmability and others, so that the data analyzed manghasilkan in accordance with the expected. The results obtained are (1) the readiness of society in facing the society of ASEAN economy is still not seen. What else is the region of the economic market. So from the market economy will emerge. Norsanie Dalan ABSTRACT This paper is aimed at 1.Want to introduce about the PLS / PNF's work in the society; and 2. Want to know how the PLS / PNF work in community development and 3. Want to know clearly how the Program Mehaga lewu in Central Kalimantan, and (4) Want to know how the community knowledge about PLS / PNF in disadvantaged areas. The methodology of this study used qualitative research with subjects in three community groups: urban, suburban and rural (disadvantaged villages) communities. To obtain more accurate data using research tools in the form of: (1) interview guides, (2) observation guidelines and (3) documentation closely related to the problem. After the data was obtained, triangulation was also done. To obtain data analysis consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal of conclusions or verification. The results of this study were obtained: (1) By introducing about PLS / PNF gait so far in society. Because PLS / PNF activities so far less known to the public. So many efforts have been made, whether by lecturers, students with various programs. Maupan non-formal education figures. But still have not found the most effective way. (2) the gait of PLS ​​/ PNF educators in the community empowerment has started to happen movement with various things. However, it still finds a significant obstacle that the community believes in formal education rather than non-formal education and (3) clearly how the Mehaga Lewu Program in Central Kalimantan has been initiated by the government with the community.
